LAY CANON FOR ADULT FORMATION, DIOCESE OF NEVADA

The Diocese of Nevada is seeking a seminary trained/theologically educated lay person to become the Lay Canon for Adult Formation.  Initially this will be a part-time position and will be open January 1, 2010.  Total Salary and benefits including contributions to the lay portion of the Church Pension Fund not to exceed $60,000.  Travel and business reimbursement expenses will be in addition.
 
The primary duties of the position are:
·         to assist with the organization of the Frensdorff School for Christian Formation <http://frensdorffschool.webs.com>;
·         the recruitment and training of seven (7) ministry developers;
·         to work with congregations to find resources for parishes to use in their own programs.
